Our topic this term in 'World of Sport'
We will be finding out about:
- Different sports that are played
- Well known sporting events such as the commonwealth games and the football world cup
- Sports men and women from Wales and our local area
- Countries that participate in each sporting event
- Para-athletic sports and events
We have been researching and finding out information about the Commonwealth Games that took place in Australia last month. Using laptops, we each researched a different sport from the Commonwealth Games and produced a Powerpoint presentation to present to the rest of the class. Also, we used chromebooks to research and create a poster about a member of Team Wales. Here are some of the posters we created...
For our Class Assembly on Wednesday 20th June, we are singing "This is Me" from the Greatest Showman soundtrack as this relates to our theme of equality. The lyrics and link to the song are attached below to help practice at home.
