PPA 2015-2016
Summer Term
In Year 3 and 4 we have been learning about databases and creating our own class database.
In Year 5 and 6 we have been learning about Scratch and coding. We are concentrating on creating codes for our own games.
Spring Term
In Year 3 and 4 we have been working in groups to create iMovies about Greenway Primary.
In Year 5 and 6 we have been using Excel to create spreadsheets.
PPA Foundation Phase
Mrs Ashmore has had a fantastic year of PPA!
Reception - Dosbarth Derbyn
Reception have learnt lots of new Welsh language this year. We know how to ask for things, how to talk about the weather and what clothes we wear. Ardderchog Dosbarth Derbyn!!!
They have also been learning about different religions. Mike Thomas came to talk to us about special places. He told us about his special place and showed us photographs.
Year 1 - Blwyddyn Un
Year 1 have learnt lots of new skills in ICT. We created our own VLOGS and uploaded them, created pictures on Paint, used the interent to find images and emailed Mr Evans whilst he was on his PPA. We know we must always follow important rules when online so that we keep safe!
Year 2 - Blwyddyn Dau
Year 2 have been learning about differnt religions and their places of worship. We researched and discussed what happens in a church, mosque, temple and synagogue. We visited a local Christian church call St Augustines where we met Fr John. He showed us around the churvh and told us all about its history and what happens there today. Did you know St Augustines Church is the oldest building in Rumney and was built over 900 years ago!
