The children will be keeping up with the latest Newsround daily, where we will be discussing the current events around the globe. This is an excellent opportunity for the children to understand and share their thoughts on what is going on. This is a child-friendly look at the latest news.
Throughout the up and coming school year, the children will be learning how to be: Ambitious, Capable Learners; Enterprising, Creative Contributors; Ethical, Informed Citizens; and Healthy, Confident Individuals. More information can be found by scanning the QR code here:

Count Fourways is an intergalactic traveller!
Hello Earthlings, my name is Count Fourways. The ‘four ways’ are counting in 1s, 2s, 5s and 25s. Since our children simply learn to count out loud in four crucial ways. Each of these four ways is built progressively and in alignment with the children’s developing understanding of place value. I am here to help!
Pim is an alien from the planet CLIC.
My name is Pim; I have 3 arms on one side and 4 arms on the other side. I have 7 arms in total. I also have 3 legs and 4 legs, so I must have 7 legs. I have 3 ears and 4 ears, 3 nostrils and 4 nostrils, and I have 3 eyes and 4 eyes. So, as soon as children know ‘3 add 4 equals 7’, I can easily help them to realise that this applies to all ‘things’. In other words, 3 things and 4 things are 7 things.
Squiggleworth is Pim’s Pet!
My name is Squiggleworth and I am Pim’s pet, I can be used to help children have fun while they practice partitioning numbers.
Pom is an alien, he lives with Pim on the planet CLIC.
My name is Pom, I help children to learn 4 key mathematical words: multiple, factor, square and prime. With my help, these words can be learnt easily. I provide a fun framework for the presentation. Put the product (answer) number in my tummy, then the factors can be recorded on the end of my body parts.
Mully Multiple
Hello all, my name is ‘Mully Multiple’! I am known as Mully for short. I like to explore and to hide. I like to hide behind the biggest multiple of a number that I can find.
