Welcome to the Nursery 

It is lovely to welcome all of our new starters and a welcome back to our returning children.

Teacher- Mrs Hobbs 

Teaching Assistants- Mrs Shelly, Mrs Wheatly, Miss Watkins & Mrs Fletcher-Price (Monday & Tuesday)

 

General Information

Snack- £1.50 per week.

We provide a healthy snack, milk and water everyday for our children. 

Please could this be paid Weekly or Half Termly

 

PE- is on a Wednesday, please could children wear shoes that do not have laces in order to help the children learn to put on and take off their shoes. 
 


 

 

 

 

Our Topic this Term is...

Once Upon a Time 

Over the next 10 weeks we will learning lots of Nursery Rhymes. 

We will be learning to-

  • sing songs and rhymes
  • understand rhyming words
  • make up our own rhymes
  • count numbers forwards and backwards
  • weigh and measure objects
  • compare sizes 
  • all about opposites
  • creating 2D and 3D pictures and sculptures
  • using role play to act out rhymes and songs
  • learn new Welsh songs and rhymes 
  • recognise colours in Welsh 
  • use new moves and shapes in order to travel 
  • recognise a beat and learn to play African Drums . 

Here are some of the Nursery Rhymes we will be looking at during this Term. 

Baa Baa Black Sheep - Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs

We listened to the Nursery Rhyme and made our own sheep. Then we sheared them and dyed the wool to make our own woolly jumpers.
