Reading in Reception
In the Reception Class we enjoy reading all sorts of books. We have a book corner where children can enjoy reading and looking at all kinds of books. We also have a listening centre where the children can look at a book whilst the story is being read to them by an audio system.
We regularly visit Rumney library where the children choose a book to take back to school.
Every week the children partciapte in guided reading sessions with the class teacher and teaching assistants.
We have weekly library books the children choose to take home and share with parents every Friday. Please return the books Monday so you can have a new one the following Friday.
