We have been very busy so far learning all about ourselves and getting to know one another. We have had lots of fun.
We have been very busy during this Half Term.
Here are our best bits.
We went into the Nursery garden to pick leaves and twigs to make silly faces.
It was good fun and a bit messy!
We listened to lots of Welsh Music. We also had a go at playing some instruments too!
Mrs Hobbs brought in her violin, we all tried it. It was noisy!
We made our own harps.
We learned that we celebrate our birthday to remember the day we were born and we get 1 year older every time. On our next birthday most of us will be 4. Some of us will be 5.
Our class teddy Lola had a birthday so we celebrated by making sandwiches, designing our own birthday cards and invitations, dressing the tables, making jelly and making a 4 tier birthday cake.
We then had a birthday party for Lola and played games- Pass the Parcel and musical chairs.
What a busy week we've had. We have been designing our own space rockets and making moon rock cakes.
We also found out what happens to chocolate when it I see heated- it melts!
Moon rock cake making
After we had made them we tasted them. They were yummy!
Our topic is Twinkle,Twinkle and we decided to look at the moon. We read lots of books about the moon and we made moon rocks and moon cakes.
NASA sent us some astronaut food, it was dried soup, some of us liked it, some of us didn't.
