This term our topic is 'Twinkle Twinkle'. 

As part of our topic we will be learning about space, the moon and Earth.

During our first term in Reception we will learn:

• Our letter sounds and formation
• How to handle a book correctly and turn pages
• To count to 10
• Positional Language 
• How to take a photograph on an IPAD
• Sharing and class rules
• To explore our school environment and the important people who help us
• How to wash our hands thoroughly and keep the germs away

We used our pupil voice to decide what we wanted to learn about. We asked:

• What does the sun do?
• Why do astronauts wear suits?
• What planets are there?
• What is a star?
• What is the moon made of?
• Why do rockets go into space?
