This term our topic is 'In Ancient Times.' 

We will be learning about the Celts and Romans.

In our Pupil Voice session we discussed what we would like to learn. Some of our ideas are: 

• Learning about famous Celts and Romans.
• Finding out about Celt and Roman battles.
• Learning about Roman diets.
• Finding out what Celts and Romans did each day.
• Go on a trip to see Romans how the Romans lived.
• Find out about Gladiators. 

Over the past few weeks we have learnt about the Warrior Queen Boudicca and the Battle of Watling Street. We learnt about the Celts' life and how they lived in Roundhouses. We designed our own war paint and then dressed up as Celts for our immersion day. We have also investigated a Roman diet in lots of fun ways!

We have also been using our outdoor area to learn. We have foraged for natural items that can be used to dye materials just like the Romans and Celts did in the past. We have also continued our weaving skills using natural items.
