FOUNDATION PHASE
Reception
In reception this term we have been doing lots of Welsh and RE. We've been reading the story of Noah's Ark and looking at special places where people go. We have had great fun learning about clothes and colours in Welsh.

We made the sounds of a church organ using a keyboard
We measured and guessed how many pots of water it would take to full up bottles of water!
Year 1
This term we have been learning lots of new things. We have been learning about special places different religions worship in, have looked at some famous stories from the bible and learnt about multimedia in ICT. We have also been shown how to do comprehension and answer questions about what we are reading!
We recreated the story of 'The Good Samaritan' using Lego
Year 2
In Year 2 we have been doing lots of different comprehension work. We have been reading lots of different texts and then answering questions about them. We have also been learning new words and phrases in Welsh and learnt about different religious buildings.
We enjoy using ICT to help us become better at maths!
